Noora Health, trains patients and their families with high-impact health skills to improve outcomes and save lives. The program works in collaboration with hospitals and local groups by turning hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms that enable family members to provide care in the hospital and at home. Their impact is pan-India and the program has been implemented in 191 hospitals while the MFE initiative with Noora is in partnership with 4 hospitals in Maharashtra.
MFE Supported Programs:
The MFE supported Compassionate Care Program (CCP) has been implemented in 4 government hospitals in Maharashtra: Shri Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College & Hospital, Yavatmal, Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College & Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, The Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai and Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital, Nagpur. The program aims to engage family members by training them in basic medical skills that have the highest impact for improving a patient’s recovery. CCP operates on the philosophy of educating and empowering people to be agents of their own health and wellbeing.The program was launched by conducting a Training of Trainers Workshop across the 4 government hospitals.
